So what is business?  Well, it is defined as something like this:

A person, partnership or corporation looking to make a profit from the purchase and sale of goods and services.

I took this from a couple different definitions from the dictionary.  I think I would sum it up like this:

The exchange of money for a product or service that the customer needs.

I think I like that a little better.

Chances are you're either working for someone that has their own business or working for yourself.  Most people could be put in the first category.  Strange isn't it?  Especially if you're part of the western world and you live in a capitalist society.  Why aren't more people working for themselves?

Is it because they don't have a product or service to offer the public?

Is it because they simply aren't taught that they can do anything they want to in life?

Both are probably all too true.

A lot of people don't have their own product or service to offer but it shouldn't stop them.  There are many people that sell other peoples products and services through affiliate marketing or network marketing.  I never really ran into this roadblock.  Even before I got my first job, I was flipping through small business magazines at the local supermarket looking for ways I could make money.

That's what a restaurant franchise owner does.  They pay a license fee, or franchise fee and they sell other peoples goods and services.  Seems kind of simply right?

The other thing we touched on earlier was the fact that people aren't taught to start a business.  Even in the western world, where you can do anything you want to, you're kind of brainwashed by the establishment to go out and get a job.  Very strange indeed.

If you have a choice of working for yourself and working for someone else, why would you want to work for someone else?

The truth is, you can do anything you want and that includes working for yourself and creating true freedom for you and your family even if you don't have a product or service of your own to sell. 

So go out there and create your own reality and become self sufficient.  Freedom is not reserved for the elites of the world.
